It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But not all pictures are what you want hanging on your wall. So for anyone looking for just the right mountain print, I’ve added a new section to help. In four print categories, Print Suggestions presents a selection from all the images in occasionalclimber.co.nz that I think are best suited to printing for display purposes.

Site content now spans 27 years
I’m happy to advise that occasionalclimber.co.nz now features the best of my alpine photography from the past 27 years. Over 4,000 images, but don’t be discouraged by that huge number – you can easily target right in on your particular area of interest using the cascading links in See Images. New captioned slideshows with supporting topo trip maps are being added most months. The latest are:
Mount Peel in the Kahurangi National Park March 2016
A traverse of seven of the Tararua’s highest points February 2016
A challenging two ridge trip into the Tararuas February 2016
Climbs of two peaks in the Khumbu region of Nepal December 2015
A growing number of published outdoor magazine articles are also featured.
