Explore beautiful mountain images, articles, calendars and a book
At this site you can see and buy mountain images (some award winning), calendars and a book; read about mountain places and experiences; and perhaps even gain some inspiration, from my occasional climber‘s perspective.
If you enjoy the big picture views above, click these links to see more panoramic mountain images. Please be aware that they might take a wee while to upload if you’re using a low speed internet connection . . . North Island, NZ . . . South Island, NZ . . . Roof of the World . . . Other places . . . Mountain people
If you’re looking to buy images, or just to browse, there is lots to see; and I add more with each new trip or climb.
There are over 10,000 mountain and travel images on the site. That’s a lot, but the collection is broken down into over 300 easy to view slideshows, each supported with image captions, often a trip map and sometimes an article. You can quickly find a specific mountain location using the See Images dropdown navigation or in-page thumbs. There is also a ‘find using clickable maps‘ option. And if you like using a Site Map that’s an option too. Climbs also lists many of the slideshows chronologically, as another way to explore them and find what you’re after.
